PURE GRAVEL SPEED

A streamlined centre tread minimises rolling resistance on hardpack and pavement, while 45c and 50c race-volume profiles support lower pressures for improved efficiency across mixed terrain. Compared to the CADEX GX 40c, the GXR 45c delivers a measured –1.52-watt reduction in rolling resistance per tyre (–3.03 watts per bike), enabling higher sustained speed on fast gravel sectors and smoother transitions between surfaces.

RACE-BALANCED TRACTION

Refined shoulder knob geometry delivers predictable grip for cornering and off-camber transitions across loose gravel, sand, and variable surfaces. A 170 TPI supple casing allows the tyre to conform to the terrain, maintaining consistent contact and control without increasing rolling resistance.

BUILT FOR THE DISTANCE

A dual-layer system combines Race Shield+ protection under the centre tread with reinforced X-Shield sidewalls to resist cuts, punctures, and abrasion. This bead-to-bead construction improves durability in race conditions while keeping weight low and ride quality smooth.
