Review: CADEX Classics are "Truly Remarkable"

Mittwoch, 25. November 2020

The website published a review of the new CADEX Classics tubeless tires, praising a pair of 28c test models for their speed, grip and ease of installation.

Tester Andy Lulham detailed the development of the CADEX Classics, including the involvement of WorldTour pro racers, and compared their performance to other tubeless road tires. Following a poor experience on Continental GP5000 tubeless tires, which he claimed “cut up horribly,” he mounted a pair of Classics on his Bontrager rims.
“First impressions were excellent,” Lulham wrote. “Out of the box, the Classics felt more substantial than the Contis, with a tread pattern over the whole of the tyre. No need for me to dig my chamber inflator out of the shed; both tyres seated with minimum fuss and a standard track pump.”
As for their performance on the road, Lulham wrote: “They ran quite fast, and although I was inititially skeptical about their grip, they seemed to outperform any tyre I’d experienced recently. If smoothness is the secret to speed, I cannot see how these tyres can be bettered.”
