Vos showed off her all-around great form, winning Stage 3 by powering up a steep 700-meter climb to the finish and then sprinting to another victory two days later on Stage 5 to secure her 27th career stage win at the world's most prestigious women's road race.
For both wins, the Dutch star rode her CADEX WheelSystem. Vos also led the points classification after five stages and sat ninth overall in the general classification.
With four stages left to go, Vos’s South African teammate Ashleigh Moolman-Pasio was in seventh in the GC. Both riders said they would continue to push for stage wins and the overall over the last four days of the race before its Stage 9 finish at Motta Montecorvino.
