SYSTEM-LEVEL AERO DESIGN

A fully integrated aerodynamic system where spokes, hub flange, and hub geometry all function as a single structure to reduce turbulence at the wheel center and improve airflow interaction across the wheel-tire interface. A 50mm rim profile paired with Super Aero carbon spokes delivers a measurable aerodynamic advantage across a broad range of yaw angles. Wind tunnel testing confirms a 3.74-watt reduction in aero drag and a 0.87-watt reduction in rotational drag, resulting in a total system gain of 4.61 watts versus the CADEX AR 35.

STABILITY, CONTROL & EFFICIENCY

A 25mm inner rim width supports high-volume gravel tires at lower pressures, expanding the contact patch for improved traction, compliance, and control across rough terrain. Dynamic Balanced Lacing balances spoke tension under pedaling and impact loads to deliver efficient power transfer and predictable handling. The CADEX R3-C60 hub’s 60-tooth ratchet system provides fast, precise engagement to maintain momentum through accelerations and terrain transitions. Compared to CADEX AR 35, Max GXR increases rear-wheel transmission stiffness by 19.9% and improves transmission stiff-ness-to-weight by 18.8%.

RACE-READY DURABILITY

Reinforced 5mm Wide Guard sidewalls protect against rim strikes and pinch flats without requiring tire inserts. A precision-reinforced carbon layup places high-tensile fibers only where needed, improving impact resistance and torsional stiffness without excess material. Hidden alloy nipples maintain long-term structural integrity under repeated high-load conditions.
