SYSTEM-LEVEL AERO DESIGN

By integrating spokes, hub flange, and aero hub design as a single system, Max 50 delivers a measurable aerodynamic advantage in real-world conditions. An optimized 50mm rim depth, Super Aero carbon bladed spokes, and ultra-thin aero hub flanges reduce turbulence at the center of the wheel, cutting drag by an additional 2.18 watts compared to the CADEX Ultra 50. A hookless 22.4mm inner rim width further smooths airflow over the tire, improving aerodynamic efficiency across a broad range of yaw angles.

INSTANT POWER

Max 50 elevates transmission efficiency by combining a fully integrated spoke–hub system and Dynamic Balanced Lacing that increases spoke bracing angles and equalizes spoke tension under load. Outstanding lateral stiffness remains on par with Ultra 50, while transmission stiffness improves by 5.4%, delivering sharper acceleration, greater stability, and immediate response.

ULTIMATE EFFICIENCY

CADEX Super Aero carbon spokes with hidden titanium nipples reduce weight and limit lateral flex for more direct power delivery. At just 1290g, Max 50 improves lateral stiffness-to-weight by 3.2% and rear-wheel transmission stiffness-to-weight by 14.3% compared to Ultra 50, maximizing speed from every watt. The Max integrated hub system and R3-C48 hub with wave spring further preserve efficiency, ensuring all pedaling input reaches the road.
