CADEX Boost Saddle Earns Taipei Cycle d&i Gold Award!

Wednesday, February 24, 2021

The CADEX Boost Saddle earned the highest honor in this year’s Taipei Cycle d&i awards, taking home the prestigious Gold Award. Presented to new cycling products that best represent “an outstanding level of innovation and design quality” and “forecast upcoming trends,” the Gold Award is reserved for the top-five winners worldwide.

A jury of industry experts from bicycle and design-related industries gathered in Taiwan last month to choose this year’s winners from 110 entries. They selected a total of 38 winners, with five, including the Boost saddle, earning the coveted Gold Award.
The Boost saddle was developed with input from WorldTour road racing pros seeking a new type of road saddle that could deliver just the right balance of light weight (138 grams) comfort and performance. Built on an innovative two-piece composite frame that eliminates unwanted flex and maximizes power transfer, the saddle has been recognized by test editors and riders all around the world.
Jurors called the Boost a “beautiful execution of a complex product that balances aesthetics, structure and comfort.” Praising the saddle as “highly attractive, and lightweight with distinctive styling,” they wrote: “Typically a saddle at this weight would feel like sitting on a block of plastic, but the CADEX Boost distributes power evenly, resulting in a comfort that is unique for a premium ultra-light saddle.”
