That commitment has put her on an upward trajectory. In 2016, Taylor broke into the top-50 in the World Triathlon Series for the first time. Since then, she has worked her way to the top, becoming a consistent contender at the biggest events.

The results are hard-earned, and it never gets easier. “That’s what keeps me going,” Taylor says. “The tough days only make me stronger.”
